a reason why a father should massage his baby !

Parents should know baby massage provides many benefits, among them is :
1.help the development of the brain
2. enhance the immune system
3. Overcoming colic (crying continuously for no apparent reason)
4. increase weight and relieve stress for premature babies 

And the most important benefits of baby massage is to build a bond between the baby and his parents. The  touch and eye contact that occurs during the baby massage process helps  the baby get to know the parents well, especially if the baby massage  is done regularly. Therefore, baby massage is recommended performed by Father and mother as part of routine activities at home.

Apparently,  not only Mother who must build a strong bond with the little one,  a father also needs to provide a baby massage. as Physically, a father has more power.so a father with stronger hands must learn to touch and massage the little one with more care.

Once a father have been able to provide baby massage for baby, the  benefits will not only be felt by child but also by the father self , the emotional ties and sensomotor benefits that will stimulate motor  nerves and the child's movement later. It's all because of a firm and strong father's grip on the child.

Babies have more opportunities to feel close to the Mother physically and emotionally, that is during breastfeeding. So Baby Massage is one of those moments when father has a great chance to get closer to the little guy. a father who massaged the baby became easier to express his feelings to the baby. In addition to massaging, the father can also perform other activities such as bathing the baby for example.

 1.membantu perkembangan otak

3.mengatasi kolik (menangis terus menerus tanpa sebab yang jelas)

4.meningkatkan berat badan dan meredakan stress bagi bayi prematur 

Dan manfaat pijat bayi yang paling utama adalah membangun ikatan antara bayi dan pemijatnya. Sentuhan serta kontak mata yang terjadi selama proses pijat bayi berlangsung membantu si bayi mengenal pemijatnya dengan baik, terutama bila pijat bayi dilakukan secara rutin. Karena itu, pijat bayi disarankan dilakukan oleh Ayah dan ibu sebagai bagian dari aktivitas rutin di rumah.  Ternyata, tidak hanya Bunda saja yang harus membangun ikatan yang kuat dengan si kecil, Ayah pun perlu memberikan pijat bayi . 

Secara fisik, Ayah mempunya tenaga lebih sehingga tangan Ayah yang lebih kuat harus belajar untuk menyentuh dan memijat si kecil dengan lebih hati-hati.  Tapi, begitu Ayah sudah bisa memberikan pijat bayi untuk si kecil, manfaatnya tak hanya akan dirasakan si kecil, tapi juga oleh Ayah yaitu ikatan emosional dan manfaat sensomotor yang akan merangsang syaraf motorik dan gerak si anak kelak. Itu semua karena genggaman ayah yang tegas dan kuat terhadap si anak. 

Bayi memiliki lebih banyak kesempatan untuk merasa dekat dengan Bunda secara fisik dan emosional, yaitu saat proses menyusui. Maka Pijat bayi merupakan salah satu saat ketika Ayah memiliki kesempatan besar untuk mendekatkan diri dengan si kecil. Ayah yang memijat bayinya menjadi lebih mudah mengekspresikan perasaannya kepada bayinya. Selain memijat, ayah juga bisa melakukan kegiatan lainya seperti memandikan bayi misalnya.
