Ischemic or ischaemic according to doctors, is heart disease characterized to stop or reduce the flow of blood to the heart.

This particular heart disease is one of the major causes of death in the western countries.

The word ''ischaemia'' means reduce or limited blood supply.

One of the arteries that supplies blood to the heart is know as ''coronary'', and no any other blood supplies to it except this one. So therefore if this coronary artery is blocked it slows or reduces the supply of blood to the heart. Atherosclerosis is also one of the causes of ischaemia heart disease. The atherosclerosis prevents the flow even when the artery lumen can be see or appear to be normal by angiography.

Primarily, there is a swift narrow severe closure of either the gigantic coronary arteries. This closure is generally caused by hiding of the atheromatous plaques right within the walls of of the human artery, in return they lead to a severe heart attack ( the heart attack is caused by just the artery closure).

The danger of this disease is that it causes damage to the heart muscle by cutting off it's blood pressure.

Symptoms of ischemic heart disease

Never forget that ischemic disease reduces the flow of blood to the arteries, the coronary artery in particular.
With this reduction in blood flow, it leads to so countless number of active symptoms that are very essential. Some of the common symptoms include, chest pain, pressure, or shortness of breath. While other include the following below;

  1. Usually lasts a short period of time ( 6 minutes or less)
  2. Is relieved by medicine or rest
  3. Occurs repeatedly
  4. Occurs when the heart is at work, usually usually during exercise.

In most cases, ischaemic disease can be life threatening. It is advisable to seek you doctor immediately or call (911).

  1. Pain in the jaw or neck
  2. Arm or shoulder pain
  3. Vomiting without nausea
  4. Shortness of breathe.

How to prevent this disease

The prevention of ischemic heart disease is solely dependent on the factors that gives increased risk of developing ischemic disease.
Below are few ways to prevent this disease

  1. Get regular aerobic exercise
  2. switch to lean proteins
  3. Eat more vegetables, fruits and grain products
  4. Always eat a ''healthy diet''
  5. Learn to cope with stress
  6. Quit smoking and drinking
  7. Maintain a healthy weight.

Conclusion

We should understand that the heart is the center of our whole body and therefore proper care and utility must be put in. Eat the right food just as recommended above, because you are what you eat and you are also what you don't eat. And remember also that whenever you notice a funny unusual movement in your body, do well to inform your doctor as soon as possible or you can call (911) or whichever emergency country code you have in your country.

Thanks for the reminder about this deadly disease. I think even in these days of information at our fingertips it's surprising how little people know about their health.

Great post! However I think you should be more specific in the prevention and advise people to ditch animal products completely not just to eat more fruits and veg. This is like telling a smoker to "just smoke more vape". This does not adress the core problem therefore is a very inefficient prevention.

Animal products are full of cholesterol which is the leading cause of 77% of all chronic diseases. Animals create their own cholesterol so when consume animal products we have so much excess cholesterol which clogs up our arteries.

Especially with advice we are to lenient towards animal products which is the main cause. Don't take this in wrong way just trying to help you and others become more healthy and not have to go through unnecessary suffering!

For anyone reading who is or knows anyone who is suffering through illness I highly recommend looking into a plant-based diet. This is the only diet that has been stated by the World Health Organization to reverse heart disease and many other killers <3

Thank you for your suggestions and solutions for the disease. this is very beneficial for those who read and may also experience the disease so they find the solution you suggest.
Thanks for a great comment!

As a family physician, and vegan, I recognize just how right on you are.

An excellent herbal heart remedy in an emergency, opening arteries to increase blood flow, is cayenne pepper. It not only relaxes the arteries, decreases blood pressure but will also stop bleeding. So there are no worries for hemorrhagic bleeds. It's an amazing God given herb. It has been used to stop heart attacks. I have used it successfully with family members that have experienced heart symptoms of insufficiency. I take it with me on hikes, etc as an emergency "medicine."

Thanks for the solution you provided. this is very beneficial for people who have heart disease and follow the solution you are doing

Coronary Heart Disease is still the #1 killer in many developed countries, but reduced rates of smoking have gone a long ways to reducing its mortality especially in men. As women started to smoke like men, they started to die like men, of CAD. I'm a long time family physician and have really come to realize that except for genetic predisposition, most of the causes of CAD are modifiable by change in behavior. For this reason, and others, I have been vegan for the last 3 years. A recent president of the American College of Cardiology became famous for the quote, "There are two types of Cardiologist, vegans and those who have not read the data." Quitting smoking or never smoking and avoiding eating animal products will go a long ways towards reducing your risk of dying from coronary disease. Thanks for the post, keep spreading the good information.

smoking is one of the cause of the increasing number of deaths in every state. previous in my country ever to dismiss smokers with how to create a cigarette prices expensive but it did not affect the smokers to stop.
Thanks for great comment!

And make sure you get calcium out of the blood vessels by taking vitamin D and K. Vitamin K makes sure it stays in the bone. Take Magnesuim as well to balance calcium. Also chill on the calcium intake. Calcium is the number one sinner for ateroschlerosis.

I also take L-arginine with citrulline malate which produces NOX in the blood vessels (it dilates them and "blasts" away the plaque)

Thanks a lot for the solution for this disease. this is very beneficial for people suffering from this disease. Thanks for advice

I would like to add that I am not a health advisor or professional. And if it is a "solution" to heart disease I can't prove. I'm not a scientist. But it seems to me like following that recipe is 100% harmless and will only give you benefits. And I strongly believe that those things mentioned is one of the most important things to help cure ateroschlerosis.

But keep in mind, exercise, good shoes(no shoes/barefoot shoes) for improved strenght in the feet and therefore also improved circulation and a general healthy diet and no tobacco is THE most important things to health.

@yandot this is a great article..
I never knew ischemic heart disease could be this deadly. Well thank God I know now and I would do my best because theirs a saying that goes "prevention is better than cure."

Thats right! Preventation is better than cure. Thanks man

wow this is a scary disease :( to anyone suffering from clogged arteries I would recommend adding red skinned grapes or cranberry juice to your diet. they improve your ability to absorb fat build up in the blood cells and use it for energy production!

Thank you for your advive . This is very helpful for people suffering from this disease

Luar biasa ya

Great post. for raising awareness.

I would like to point out that in america in 1960s heart disease was basically unheard of. Yet Americans ate much more fat and cholesterol including lard, tallow etc. Even McDonalds fries were made from tallow.

Ever since we switched to a low fat high carb diet the rate of Heard Disease has started growing. Lots of literature suggests that the carbohydrates are to blame for the artery damage in the same way smoking is. Cholesterol and fat is not the bad guy, it comes in to FIX the problem.

what an awesome article dear @yandot(65)
actually
insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle from narrowing of coronary artery may cause chest pain and that type of pain is like a ischemic heart disease..

Thanks for sharing an awesome article....

That right . heart disease is very dangerous if in experienced by children

yes you are right Mr @yandot
