. Black & White photography is great, I love it, but sometimes it really lacks the ability to capture what you see.
. In this scene, the wall art was a spectacular cocktail of colours spiralling boldly all over the red-brick wall. The signage itself was a mix of bold colours. Perhaps the most striking though, was the very bright yellow window blind/curtain, which matched the wall art quite nicely.
. There was also the green colour of the plants to the right of the photo, which merged very well with the green part of the wall art on the right. I don't know if the artist did this on purpose, but it worked quite nicely.
. Of course none of the above is captured in this photo - being monochrome. What is captured, however, is the essence of the place. That of what I like to call 'trendy dilapidation'.
