Deadlifts and trying a new preworkout!

Hello Steemians!

Deadlifts!!

We're on week three of the program!
That means it's the last week using these percentages, next week the weights increase 5% and the reps decrease by 2 on each set.

Before we get into the workout, I wanna mention this preworkout I tried out today. I'll typically just order different brands and try them each time but earlier in the year I came across a brand I stuck with for 6 months because I really liked it.
I still like it alot, but I decided to go back to my usual ways and try something different, Manson by Dark Metal Inc.

I'll tell ya, it hit me a little different than other brands.
It didn't give me those wild face tingles, which I'm not particularly fond of, so that was nice. But man, I was sweatin my butt off in the garage after just one set of deadlifts. And considering it's only 54° out, I'm guessing it was the pre.
The flavor was good, I got mixed berry. Anyways I just thought I'd throw that out there haha.

Ok warm up! I do toe touches on deadlift day to stretch out those hammies a bit.

Now we get into the working sets and accessory work. Working sets moved OK. I think I was expecting to out perform each top set this time through the program because that's what happened last time. Of course the weights are higher so I don't know why I even assumed that would just automatically be the case ha. Still moved good enough and I got 4 reps on the top set so it's a win. As far as accessory work, it's the same ol. Rows and kb swings. The barbell rows will also increase in weight as the program progresses.

And now for conditioning. I decided to add in 3 of the 8 rounds into the video, I didn't want to have wait forever for it to load a 10 minute video. Of course there were already some issues with uploading so I'm glad I only did a 4 minute video 🙄

Yeah 6 rounds of this was fairly taxing. I think I probably could have pushed it a little harder and got an 8th round, but I was also trying to be pretty steady on the over head squats so trying to rush through them could have proven to be pretty dangerous even with the lighter weight.

I had to cut the audio off on the conditioning portion because there was a copyright song playing so YouTube blocked the upload. I'm not usually paying attention to the music when I'm lifting so whatevs.

Too much beta-alanine gives me tingles in the neck and ears. Currently I'm using Kaged Muscle InKaged as both a preworkout and intrawork even though it is intended just for intra. It doesn't make me feel ill like so many pres have and both the watermelon and lemonade flavors taste great. I think its a quality company and they also makes a preworkout and postworkout but I have never used them.

Yeah I can't stand that feeling. I'll have to check some kaged muscle next for sure, thanks @ninjamike. You keep comin with the quality advice lol I love it.
