#FITTYBITZ #4 // tuesday 6th feb // January reports and authentic data breakdown for start of february: I spend how long on twitter/amazon?!

in fitty-bitz •  7 years ago

So I got my first month (January) stats together and I’ve also got last week (the first week of feb) as a frame of reference for this month. It’s going to be interesting to see what months I have my downtime in and which months I’m crushing it, where I need to make changes at the start of the year or not!

I’m would say that we tend to not do a lot of walking of heading out anywhere at the start of the weeks while we look around for client work online or deal with any left over blogging ideas or projects we had running at the weekend, maybe we need to change that up and really sneak a big walk in on the mondays against our normal apathy judgements!

Well there you have it in black and white, as much as I put in 30 hrs (that was tracked because I don’t have it on my laptop yet) on steemit and another 13 hrs actually writing in bear (again not on laptop so will be more) I had another half of that time playing games, actually a little more, so blogging in the day and then in evening gaming.

Things I really gotta get on top of is twitter, I had no idea I was spending that much time looking around at tweets, amazon and youtube - although to be fair I’m ok with the youtube because that’s actually quite low, that amazon time thou, seems like I’m researching a lot maybe because I’m looking at new kit, either way, quite a surprise.

So january steps around the nearby town was 142,531k, really not a lot at all, pretty pathetic tbh even if it does give me an average of 5k ish a day, I could be doing a lot better and a lot more.

I need to course correct through the rest of the month and get this back on track, maybe it’s the weather (cold) or what I don’t know but I don’t really have an excuse for getting outside and getting in some steps!

The first week of feb was a little better than last week because I felt uber guilty at slacking at the wheel of the computer and so was picking up the pace and trying my hardest to get more done, now that I know I’m spending too much time on twitter and amazon I’m gonna be aware not to jump into those places until my work is done which might mean over time I’ll just look in every end of the month or when I really need upgrades.

I have this weird habit of trying to push things on by just reviewing them or checking them again, I’ve only just noticed it but it’s like some kind of weird check over and over each day, I was doing it with steem.supply and steemnow bringing them sites up multiple times a day, I’ve gotta try and get a lid on that because it’s waste of productive time! :)

I hope my accountability and authentic sharing of personal data here propels you to self motivate and time track how you also use your time.
