Blank

Apparently brain gets rid of clutter during the nigh when sleeping, so if you're like me, the type of person that can do shit with a blank canvas, then that's what you get after a good night sleep. Blank. All happy and well rested and shit, but zero on the brain productivity side. Delightfully happy smelling the roses and watching paint dry, but if someone demands me to be creative or make decisions, that's an impossible task. I got nothing.

A little bit of the right kind of clutter is apparently essential for my brain. Some kind of guidelines, restrictions, dirt or useless stuff to work with. Someone famous looking back at me in a toast, garbage that could still be useful, laws that change and I find myself in a situation where I no longer can do things as I always have done before. That's the kind of shit I need, not a blank canvas. Blank is blank. Nothing more.

It's like the small window after few drinks but before a bit too many. For some, the well of ideas is just before you want to call your ex. For me that has never been a problem. If I take a bit too much, I loose the desire to speak to people and instead get a terrible urge to climb on things. So too drunk to talk but not too drunk to climb to a tree and jump to a roof.

And that's a good thing.

Trust me.

I knew what I was doing.

What I loose in the ability in speaking with actual words, I gain in muscle control. (read: self confidence. as we all do)

I don't drink that often and if I do, nowadays it's more like 3 portions and I fall asleep. Wake up in the morning having slept for over 12 hours and with a blank canvas. All happy and shit. Braindead.

I thought that I should continue selecting graffiti photos today. The task that seemed impossible yesterday. Got rid of 22 photos of 122. Uh. Switched to flower photos thinking that a change of subject would help. 172 flower photos left. Most of them look almost exactly the same. With only minor differences. So for me it's freaking hard to decide which to delete and which not. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip.

Impossible.

I heard this year summer in Finland is this weeks Thursday. Weather forecast promised 30°C something for the day after tomorrow. And thunderstorms. Perhaps two days after that also over 25°C. But I think that's that. Then the rest of the summer is like winter in most places. 5°C to 15°C. Cold rain and cold wind. Especially on Midsummer. Perhaps some snow too.

Keeping in mind this posts subject, I think I can work with that.

Enjoy your summer mate. Don't blink you'll miss it! 🤣

If you want a summer come spend Jan-March down here in Adelaide. We had 47 degrees over summer. That'll get your tan going.

Tiny leaf tip, no tiny leaf tip. I know the feeling. when requested to batch edit photos and then told I can decide what to delete or even have to crop the stupid things other than just to remove obvious issues. It is a nightmare, I tend to ignore that and if there are 1500 photos I edit 1500 photos unless they super bad there is no deleting :) !tipuvote 0.5 hide

That's the way to do it!
Perhaps I should post a post with 1500 photos in it. :D
