How to make sweet and sour sauce with fish for dinner.

Dinner is always the time for your family after a hard working day. So, which food you can make for your family on these hot summer days. This is an answer.

Ingredients.

  • 800 grams of snake head fish.
  • 1 cup of water mimosa.
  • 1 cup of broccoli.
  • 1/2 cup of carrot.
  • 1/2 cup of daikon.
  • 3-4 tbsps of tamarind paste (filtered and keep the liquid).
  • 2 tbsps of fish sauce.
  • 2 tbsps of sugar.
  • 3 cups of water.
  • 5 dried chilli (soaked with water).
  • 10-15 cloves of garlic.
  • 5-6 shallots.
  • 1/2 tsp of salt.
  • Oil.

Step by step guides.

Step 1:

  • Rinse well the fish, drain it. Deep fry the fish until golden and crispy, then drain it.
    Step 2:
  • Put chilli, salt, garlic, shallot into a mortar, use the pestle to crush it.
  • Bring 3 cups of water to a boil, put mixture in. Then add carrot, broccoli, daikon into a cooking pot.
  • Add fish sauce, tamarind, sugar to taste over low heat for about 10 minutes.
    Step 3:
  • If you want to serve hot, you can use the hotpot for this.
  • Arrange the water mimosa at the bottom, then put the fish on, cover the fish with vegetables and sauce.
  • Serve hot with cooked rice.
