Hi guys,
I decided to prepare fried rice with the few ingredients I was able to get in the nearby market since I've been craving homemade fried rice for more than a week now. I wasn't able to get all the fresh ingredients I needed because majority of the people that sell them around me are Muslims and they are in their respective homes celebrating so I got the canned ingredients instead and managed to get carrot. Though the carrot was quite expensive but I was able to get it. The canned ingredients was a totally poor substitute for the fresh ones but I still tried to bring it sense from the nonsense I got. I diced my carrot, chili pepper and onions, out my oil on fire and poured then inside the hot oil. I seasoned it and allowed it to fry for about 3 minutes before adding in my canned ingredients. Left it to fry together for another 1 minute and removed it from fire.
Then I put my meat stock on fire, added more water enough to cook the rice till soft and not soggy, added seasonings to taste, then I rinsed my rice and poured it in when the water was boiling.
Checked to see it the rice is cooked and the water dry, then added my fried ingredients and stirred together to combine. Left it to steam for a few minutes while preparing my peppered chicken.
Food is ready.
Thanks for checking my blog and continue to steem on. Love you all.
