Been too long

Hi Friends,

It has been too long since my last steak, so I had to remedy that while the wife and kids were out of town overnight visiting some family. Here is the steak:

This was a boneless ribeye, and was one of two they had left in the grocery store. They did have a couple of t-bones, but I usually stick to the best cut, which is a ribeye. I prefer bone in, but no such luck this time.

I paired with my traditional sides of onions and jalapeños and paired it with a hearty merlot. It was just what I was hoping for :)

Love Ribeyes! Good call on the Merlot pairing. I like filet mignon and cab myself.
