 Hi,Today also I come with very unknown recipe VEPPAM POO RASAM or NEEM FLOWER RASAM.

   Yes are you hear the correct word,hear I use VEPPAM POO as a main ingredient in my dish.Because it has lot of nutrients that's why I pic this Using this we make lot of dishes from this I give very simple and tasty dish VEPPAM POO RASAM.Before go to the recipe I give so.e information about it.let's see

     The neem tree is an evergreen tree, identified with the mahogany tree, found in India, Burma and Pakistan. Neem blooms have an assortment of employments, including fragrance based treatment, beauty care products, wellbeing cures and cooking. The neem tree is referred to in India as the “village pharmacy” since all aspects of the tree, from the bark to the blossoms, can be utilized for different option restorative purposes, says discoverneem.com. Now we go the recipe. :-

INGREDIENTS. :-

  • Dry Been Flower/VEPPAM Poo. : 1 table spoon

  • Tamarind. : small lemmon size

  • Salt. : as required

  • Water. : 2 cups

FOR SEASONING. :-

  • Ghee : 1 tea spoon

  • Mustered seeds. : 1/2 tea spoon

  • Cumin seeds. : 1/2 tea spoon

  • Toor dal : 1/2 tea spoon

  • Urad dal : 1/2 tea spoon

  • Asafetida : a pinch

-Red dry chillies : 2 broken

  • Curry leaves : hand full

PREPARATION. :-

STEP 1 :-

 First we do  this absorb tamarind water for 10 mins. Crush and strain the water. Put aside.

STEP 2 :-

 Then we  dry meal neem blossom in a search for gold to 3 mins. Put aside.

After fry dry been flower it will look like given image.

STEP 3 :-

  Then we warmth ghee in a container, include all the flavoring fixings. Sear for a min.

After ghee heat we add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,uludu dal,toor dal and fry them a minute.

Then we add broken red chillies to it and fry them

After that we add a pinch of asafetida and curry leaves.then we fry all ingredient in a minute.

After one to two minute it look like given image

STEP 4 :-

Then after we pour in tamarind water, salt, sugar and heat it to the point of boiling.

STEP 5:-

 Mix them well,now we wait until it boiled well.

STEP 6 :-

  When it bubbles, include neem blossom and kill the warmth.

After that it is tedy to serve .It is best combination with Rice.

Hahaha, I am not sure if I wanted to try this dish. (My honest reaction). Yes when I was kid my mother forces me to have the leave paste for better digestion. However I remember the taste to be very bitter.

Rasam is very good for digestion, I prefer it drinking after my food and it helps a lot. GOD MADE RASAM :)
