How To Make Cream Tomato Soup Using Soup Maker (Part 1)

in food •  7 years ago  (edited)

Generally, soups are usually ingested during fall/autumn and winter when the weather becomes cold. However, in the heart of summer, I was somewhat craving tomato soup, so I decided to make some using my Tefal soup maker

Ingredients For Tomato Soup Recipe (Serves 6 - 8 people)

  • Tomato                                             500g
  • Onion                                                1 large bulb
  • Red bell pepper (dry)                     1 tsp
  • Garlic                                                 3-4 cloves
  • Salt (sea salt + dried vegetables) 1 tbsp
  • Grape seed oil                                  1 tbsp
  • Water  (clean, filtered)                   500 ml

Meanwhile, I was preparing steamed mackerel fish, rice and lentils as side dish for dinner, which was ready in 40 - 50 minutes, using my electric food steamer (Gorenje) .

thank you for this post. I wish i have such ingredients over here. No knowledge is lost, definitely i am going to make my tomato stew when next i have the opportunity to be at a country where i can get those ingredients.

You are welcome, @turpsy! Well, I would have thought that the ingredients are common and widely available. Please, do well to make tomato soup. Try cooking, instead of frying as we do back home. It's way healthier to boil/steem than fry. When you have time, you can watch the part 2 of this vlog. Be sure to follow @redfishpillar project . Guess you will like it. Cheers.

Not widely common. Regional differences. I will. Thank you for the suggestion of @redfishpillar, i just did the needful. I will definitely watch it. Thanks

You have an amazing soup maker @maryfavour! So practical! I make mine the old classic way, and I usually add basil too when making my soup!
Looking forward to your Raspberry and Banana sorbet video!
Cheers
@progressivechef

Glad to have you here, @prpgressivechef! Absolutely. my soup maker is practical. All I do basiclly is just to throw ingredients into it, press the button, return after 25 mins and my soup is ready! Making soup the old classic way is good too and may have better tsste, afterall. Wow! Adding basil leaves just gives tomato soup the perfect finishing touch. Sure the banana and raspberry sorbey I will make and upload the video later today. I really appreciate your support, @progressivechef. Thank you.
