Cookies with Figs

Cookies with figs are a really great and fresh idea, I like a bit of crunchy dough in combination with soft figs.

I used dried figs, which became very soft and fragrant in the baking process.

To create my photos I used blue fabric in combination with a wooden background.

Ingredients:
150 g butter
2 eggs
4-5 Art. spoons of sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
a pinch of salt
a handful of figs

Directions:

Mix soft butter with sugar and a pinch of salt.
Then gradually add the eggs and vanilla. Mix everything.

Sift the flour separately into a deep cup and then add to the liquid mixture. Knead the dough.

Roll the dough into a bowl and put into the fridge for 2 hours. Then roll the dough into a thin layer and cut a cookie using a round shape.

Lay a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the cookies. Put figs on each cookie and press into the dough a little.

Bake cookies with figs for 15-20 minutes.

At will cookies can be sprinkle with powdered sugar.
