How to make turmeric rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups of rice.
- 2 tablespoons of butter.
- 1 tablespoon of oil.
- 2 cups of chicken broth.
- Onion chopped.
- One teaspoon of black pepper.
- a small spoon of salt.
- Teaspoon ground cumin.
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric.
- raisins.
A quarter cup of roasted nuts in a little oil.
Method:
We prepare the rice, wash it well, and soak it in water.
- Bring the cooking pot and put it on the fire, put the butter and leave it until it melts and add the oil.
Put the onions and fry them in butter until they get a golden color. - Put salt, black pepper and cumin with stirring.
- Add turmeric while continuing to stir until the smell of spices is strong.
- Half the rice from the water and add to the ingredients on the fire with constant stirring.
- Put the chicken broth, cover the pot and leave on the fire until boiling.
- Reduce the temperature on the rice, and leave until fully cooked.
- Take a serving bowl, put rice in it, and decorate with nuts and raisins
