Mike Bogtrotter is a handsome, hairy and modest painter from England. His life is going nowhere until he meets Kevin England, a flabby, porky man with a passion for cookery.

Mike takes an instant disliking to Kevin and the cowardly and deranged ways he learnt during his years in the city.

However, when a zombie tries to fire Mike, Kevin springs to the rescue. Mike begins to notices that Kevin is actually rather witty at heart.

But, the pressures of Kevin's job as a computer programmer leave him blind to Mike's affections and Mike takes up writing to try an distract himself.

Finally, when rude swordsman, Gary Gloop, threatens to come between them, Kevin has to act fast. But will they ever find the passionate love that they deserve?
