Starting My Sunday With Smashed Avocado

Tea, rye bread, fruit, water and music. The perfect Sunday breakfast, if you ask me!
I love to start the Sunday in a calm and slow manner because in the weekdays I’m usually so busy.

Rye bread, smashed avocado with chili flakes, salt and pepper! Accompanied by kiwi and passion fruit. 🥝

And you guys know I LOVE avocado!

I’m so lazy - I just smash’s the avocado in the peel and put it on top of the bread.

Lots of water and tea!
I make the tea with boiling water, ginger, lemon and a splash of apple cider vinegar.

I also read a chapter of this book by Guru Jagat. It’s more than a book, it’s like a holy scripture for me. I bring it everywhere!
It’s filled with great advice and yoga exercises.

And oh... Did I mention that spring has finally arrived in Norway?

Same here. It’s so yummy and it goes way to anything, I also love how my skin feels after eating avocados on a regular basis.

This is what I call the perfect morning bliss. Slow mornings are relaxing after the busy week. Just posted about it on monday, when I was still feeling the Sunday morning vibes.

Btw, in love with avocados too but boy it's hard to find a perfect one! They're always too raw or ripe, aren't they!

I think the way to call them might be mashed, not smashed? I'm Dutch and remember explaining my last night's dinner to a new friend at an American school (when we lived in Kenya), and told them about smashed potatoes and they laughed so hard. Lol. But well, everyone will know what you're talking about of course :).

The book looks great. My husband and I lived with a teacher in India for a while, Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Best learning experience of my life!

In Australia ('straya), everyone calls it smashed avo. Yes, mashed potato, but smashed avo.

We are only violent towards some veggies.
