Poulet aux Pruneaux
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup dried plums, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
Add onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg and cook for 1 minute.
Add broth, orange juice, honey, and prunes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and cold water. Pour into skillet and stir until sauce is thickened.
Serve over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!
