I know you turned 55 years yesterday (1st June) as a free nation but I can't just say 'Heko Kenya'...
Not when your next generation is dying from hunger and floods. Or when tribalism is still an excuse to drench your soil with own blood. Not when corruption replaced our currency and language.
How can I celebrate you at your worst? Political climate is the only climate change we pay attention to. It is how you are ran that worries most of us. Recklessly.
I can only say that I am praying for you motherland. You and your future generation.
