Another Contest? Why?
Freewriters are such a wonderful bunch of people. We all want to write, of course - that is why we are on Steemit. But the Freewriters also want to help and support each other.
A couple of weeks ago, we asked you to please step up and support the Freewriters and the Freewrite House. And @eaglespirit raised her hand and shouted: "HERE."
She committed to sponsoring one Freewrite House contest per week with a share in Steem Basic Income.
After a couple of weeks, she noticed that the names she was sponsoring were quite familiar and what she really wanted to do is sponsor some new people into Steem Basic Income.
Well, that was easy. We love contests. So, let's create a new one!!!

This Contest Will Run Once a Week for Six Weeks
Here is what we want you to do.
- Search the Freewrite comments for new Freewriters.
- They can be new to the Freewrite Community or, better yet,
- New to Steemit.
- Start a conversation with that person and find out if they are here to stay.
- Leave a comment here and tell us about the new Freewriter you found
- Or, if you are new to the Freewrite and have participated at least 5 times - meaning that you wrote 5 freewrites from the daily prompt, you can nominate yourself.
What is in it for Me?
- All entries will receive a 100% upvote from the Freewrite House.
- Your name will be entered into a spreadsheet and we will pick random winners for SBI - at least one share for the total time of the contest (6 weeks), but if the posts earn a bit more, there will be more shares. The drawing will be after this contest series is finished.
The Newbies
- Your name will be entered into a drawing.
- After 7 days from posting, there will be a random drawing for one winner.
- @eaglespirit will sponsor you into SBI
- Everyone will get a shoutout in the Daily Prompt

What is a Freewriter?
A Freewriter is a person that participates in the Daily 5-Minute Freewrite Prompt. The Freewriter writes whatever comes to there mind for 5 minutes using the prompt as the inspiration. They either publish a post and drop the link to their post in the comment section of the post or they comment with their freewrite if they don't want it as a post.
You find the Daily Prompt @mariannewest and it is also resteemed to this profile.

Your entry is only valid = you get an upvote if the person you recommend is a Freewriter who has participated in the Freewrite at least a few times.

What is Steem Basic Income?
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
In other words - you get a regular upvote on your posts. It is small if you only have one share, but you can have as many shares as you like and/or can afford. With each share, the upvote gets a bit bigger.

I would love to recommend @ireenchew who is fairly new to freewrite. She is still trying to get the hang of it but I am impressed that she tried the weekend freewrite. Here's one of her latest freewrite on coffee:
