Two things I do a little differently. I just type "timer" into google and it pops up a 5-minute timer. I also type directly into steemit. I also rarely use a photo, don't I? So that's three things.

One of my favorite "funny things my kids have said" stories is when my daughter was only eight she overheard me complaining about a product that didn't work as advertised and she said, "If that happened to me I would take it right back to the store and tell them I want my money back, and I want another one for free!"

Hi @mariannewest. I have kinda become a once/week freewriter with your weekend freewrite which I find is best for my style. I can create something I'm happy with on the 3 prompt weekend posts and I really dig the way it allows you to start with a clear character/situation in mind from the first prompt sentence. Then adapt the story, on-the-fly, as the second and third prompt sentences kick in, improvising around plot and action. Which brings me, rather contentedly 😉, to my point. I'm really looking forward to your 100th freewrite post! Something special you say, what could it be? I am itching with curiosity, waiting with bated breath.
