She was looking, first to the right, then to the left - just like her forefathers had taught her. For Tsypa the lessons of forefathers weren’t a rhetorical statement. In fact, she personally knew her ancestors. Well, at least, some of them. Those who, for such a long time survives the cruel system and haven’t been slaughtered and eaten. The great example of it was the patriarch. He was the dominant male for already 8 years. He was Tsypa’s father as well as her grandfather as well as her great grandfather and on and on for sixteen generations. That exceptional fertility made things very complicated as Tsypa had a hard time conceptualizing how she was related to herself. Yet, Tsypa wasn’t much of a philosopher and just waved these theoretical fabrications off as not so applicable to her everyday survival.

On the contrary, looking first to the right, then to the left before crossing the road was a consideration of critical importance, for this allowed her to estimate the risk of a successful crossing and now being squashed by the roaring monsters with four round legs.
Now we have to unveil the secret of why did Tsypa attempt to cross the road. For eternity, this motivation was misconstrued and made an unfair fun of. For Tsypa it was obvious as it would be obvious for any practically thinking individual.

The soil on this side of the road was barren as many Tsypa’s relatives crowding here and collectively extracted all the testy warms and for mere survival had to supplicate to an artificially produced forage given away by the system units, that although was eatable, lacks the natural taste. Alternatively, the soil on the other side of the rod exhausted and full scrumptious warms of high nutritional value. Only the bravest of her kind and those, who were well educated by forefathers, could successfully cross that Rubicon. And on her return to the roost with the full craw, Tsypa would be a subject of envy of many other gossipers and the patriarch himself most likely will honor her with his attention.

That’s why now Tsypa was looking, first to the right, then to the left. She was ready to cross the road.

And finally, the question which has long occupied my every waking hour is answered!
What a very clever fellow you are.

I mean, what can I say? After my countryman, Grigori Perelman solves the Puancare conjecture, I was given the butane.

Very creative. I like his story and how it connect to the prompt.
