And now, without further ado, the RECIPE:

Brussels sprouts cream soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece onion
  • 1 secret ingredient
  • 2 pieces potatoes
  • 150 g Brussels sprouts
  • 150 g sour cream
  • Β½ g Nutmeg, ground
  • 1 baguette
  • 100 g bacon

  • Preparation:

  1. Peel onion and secret ingredient and chop finely.
    Peel potatoes and cut into 2 cm cubes.
    Remove the outer leaves of the Brussels sprouts and halve Brussels sprouts.
    Boil about 500 ml of water.

  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan, add chopped onion and secret ingredient, as well as potato cubes and Brussels sprouts, and sautΓ© for 2-3 minutes.
    Deglaze with boiling water and let simmer for 10 - 15 min.
    Then remove the soup from the heat.

  3. Bake the baguette on a baking tray on the middle rack in the oven (200 Β° C top / bottom heat) for 8 minutes.

  4. In a small pan, add diced bacon without adding fat over medium heat for about 5 minutes until crispy.

  5. Add sour cream and nutmeg powder.
    PurΓ©e the soup with a blender, season with salt and pepper.

TIP: Nutmeg is very intense in taste. Therefore, get in touch slowly.

  1. Fill brussels sprouts in bowls and garnish with bacon cubes.
    Slice the baguette and serve.

Thank you for the contest. I thought it was the oyster sauce. Haha! But nevertheless, even when I cooked Asian Beef Pan using oyster sauce, it still turned out delicious. I also included soy sauce, too.
