Hello my dearest friends of steemit! Today I made a Chinese recipe but I will prepare it in the Mauritian way, it’s 100% vegan balls, I prepared them with chayote and carrots and some spices which I will show them to you,
I would participate in the great contest fruitsandveggiesmonday which organized by the beautiful @lenasveganliving.
So I will share with you the easy recipe:
To prepare these chayote balls you need:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Chayote peeled and grated
  • 1 big carrot peeled and grated finely
  • garlic paste
  • ginger paste
  • sesame oil
  • spring onion cut finely
  • salt, ajinomoto
  • cangia powder
  • little sugar

DIRECTION:

  • peel and grate the chayote in big bowl with one grated carrot, then put little salt and sugar and let the chayote set to can take out the water and strain them well until dry, then add the other ingredients.

  • add the cangia powder little by little until you can form balls.
  • put Them in steamer to cook , when the color change and become green, take out them , and let them cool down.
You can eat them without bouillon, served with hot red chili and spring onion cut finely .
I will share with you the recipe for bouillon, stay tuned the more recipes coming soon!
