One Confused This Man

Hello to my many Thismaniacs reading worldwide and a special shout out to the billions who have no clue This Man exists. Thismania may be dead, but the This Man lives on!

This Man can't even afford to purchase a donut crumb from the guy behind the dumpster at this rate though. Damn. This Man is tempted to save the good material for a later date. These payouts seem weak! This Man finds more pennies on the ground while walking around looking for quarters! This Man looks forward to the day these issues get sorted out and This Man still has faith in the platform so those days should be soon.

It Reeks of That Guy in Here

I can smell him! It's a combination of bacon, crackhead, sweaty high school janitor guy and a hint of post-puked-in taxi cab. It burns These Nostrils worse than the hot sauce This Man used to snort in front of people at the bus stop in the hopes of earning bus tickets and/or smokes.

Maybe you are new to this blog and can't seem to figure out just what the hell is going on here. This Man can explain. You see, This Man has a history. This Man was once a bright up-and-coming star in this world we call The Blogosphere. Well, maybe you don't call it that, but This Man does. This Man thinks it sounds cool. Whoever coined that phrase deserves the day off with pay.

This Man gets sidetracked far too often. It turns out the foul odor was a simple dog fart. I can tell by the look on his face. Now, what was This Man talking about...

Oh Yeah!

This Man is no B-lister. Nobody likes those, especially when it comes time to burst out.

Alright, that makes it official. This Man truly has no clue what This Man is talking about. This Man is simply pressing keys on a keyboard and by some miracle, words appear.

Let's Recap, Shall We?

This Man's antics will now be listed in order of appearance. Call it a table of contents. This will provide you with the answers to your questions as well as entertain you along the way. You will see more of This Man in the future, along with the return of payouts worth bragging about, if you know what This Man means.

Here you'll find out just how This Man came to be and if you go in order you'll also notice how a story line develops.

So There We Have It

This Man was forced to leave out a couple of these This Man Appearances due to the fact sometimes This Man goes a little overboard. This Man has no idea what This Man was thinking at the time but This Man can only see in front of This Man and never looks back. Some things just sounded better in This Man's head. This Man is sure many of you can relate. A few cameo appearances were also left out of the list.

In total, so far This Man has "drained" the reward pool in the amount of a whopping $120. It took This Man many months to earn that and a lot of hard work. This Man won't be able to carry on if the next thirteen appearances earn a total of $1.20. This Man remembers a time when some lucky members would earn $120 per post. This Man can only dream.

This Man Has Been M.I.A.

For an entire month, This Man was silent. This Man sees the changes around here and will not be distracted by piss poor payouts. This Man was hoping to pick up where This Man left off. This Man has noticed the Thismaniacs still have This Man's back. That's enough to keep This Man around. This Man would be full of shit though if This Man said the money isn't important.

Worried? No. This Man doesn't worry. Worry is just a fancy thing people do when they assume they can predict the future. This Man knows This Man can't predict the future, for if This Man could, This Man would say to hell with this and buy winning lottery tickets instead.

After being gone for so long, upon return, This Man noticed a change. This Man was shaken, but not stirred. This Man just hopes there's still a place for This Form of entertainment here. This Man had plans and many stories to share as well. This Man is wondering if you folks think it would be a good idea to maybe hold back with the good stuff for awhile until things pick up, or just fucking go for it and see what happens?

Hey, I thought you were waiting until tomorrow for thisman, ...thatmobile, lol ;) And you should be kissing your two dollars, I haven't seen two dollars in almost a week. The first couple of days were really bad, like five cents a post bad. And that was with a long list of healthy support, it was freaky.

So confession time, I added you to steemvoter which I use now. merej99 came out of the steemvoter closet, which caused me to look into it. And since you were talking about time management, I highly recommend you take a look at it too. https://steemvoter.com
I have strict rules. Only people I would vote on anyway, and who generally post no more than two per day. And I always check the logs and comment on all of the posts my bot voted. The only catch to it is the steemvoter team gets to use one of your votes as they see fit per day. Otherwise it is all you, you get to choose the percentages, which of course I only do one hundred percent and wouldn't put anyone on the list for whom I would not vote up one hundred percent. Also the amount of time between bot visits.

And really, do not lose heart over this low money thing, because it's already much better than it was, and when it gets back to normal, like I said, you are going to get a real taste of voting power. For example, I had posts that there was not one single whale vote on, that made about twenty bucks. From awesome guys like hanshot, jrcornel, the alien and ericvw and then with us littler guys, enough of us make a big difference. And this was when it was before it reached its full potential which was interrupted by the hardfork.
Also whales can vote, but if they go over a certain amount of sp, the whales of the experiment will downvote them accordingly. So I've had a number of whale votes that at first were getting shut down by smooth, but then most of them got on board and continued voting with less sp.

This Man couldn't wait until tomorrow because it just felt so nice to write up a post today, This Man thought he'd do it twice.

As for steemvoter and curation rewards. This Man is still on the fence. It's This Man main role to produce content, so others can earn curation rewards. This Man vote is special. It means This Man was there, reading, and enjoyed whatever it was This Man was looking at. Things could change though and there may come a time when This Man signs up for a service like that. This Man is familiar with how it all works, but This Man also realizes it's not always wise to allow someone or something else to do your job for you. If the site goes down for maintenance or technical difficulties, not only do the members lose curation rewards, but the authors who depend on those auto votes don't see the vote and lose out of potential earnings. That's worse case scenario though, but This Man still considers it.

As for everything else, as of this writing, This Man currently sits in the top twenty trending thing and could not be happier with the result. To be completely honest, This Man has a deep respect for everyone involved and their attempts to make this place better. This Man doesn't have to agree with the approach 100% to still see the benefits. If things get better for This Man, good. Things can't get worse, because This Man is awesome and it's impossible for This Man to feel like a failure. :)

Welcome back, love. You've been missed. And yeah, things are a little crazy here but I highly recommend NOT holding back on the good material because week one is nearly done and the reward pool is gaining ground. Just my opinion.
And beware of counter-voting whales. It's not personal. We're all getting hit. Part of a "fun" experiment.

This Man hates feeling like a guinea pig.

Dammit, should This Man break character to talk about this? Should This Man be nervous about that WHOPPING $2 up there? Can't people just like a post regardless of how rich they are? :)

Would it help if This Man insisted This Man is broke as fuck and might need that $2 some day to purchase a coffee in a disposable cup? Should This Man get used to ordering the small cup?

This Man should probably remind you, even if This Man holds back, it's still going to be awesome! :)

I've kind of conditioned myself to see if I've had any whale votes in the first hour to expect a downvote. I have seen posts make it past a few days without any flags. It could happen. So keep the $2 cup handy and take slow, slowwwww sips.

This Man can only appreciate the honesty here. There are images This Man can slap together in under an hour. Before This Man took a little break, many of the images on this blog took many hours if not days to produce. This Man can't afford to work like that for a bit of spare change. Two weeks you say? This Man should still be able to keep busy here in the mean time without feeling ripped off.

This Man is a character 'I' created. He's a superhero with some not so super personality traits. I'm unfamiliar with the characters on that show and am only finding out about this now. Creativity can be a real bitch sometimes. The entire time I've been doing this bit, I thought it was unique. Thanks for the heads-up.

I can't claim the play on words part. That would be like trying to own the word "the". The character as you see him in the image is all mine though. Once things take off here and I'm able to expand on what I'm doing, he'll look good drawn up for a comic and maybe an animated series. Only time will tell how far I'll go with This.

Actually, he has that wrong. The faceless man calls himself A Man, not This Man, so you're in the clear ;) It's a good thing to, because what he actually says is "A man has no name" so if it were This man, you'd be screwed LOL But, nope.

That explains why I couldn't find anything on google about this. I usually do my research. There's only one This Man. All other instances refer to someone else, as in, "Have you seen this man?" As for This Man never saying 'I'... with a name like that, he never has to say 'I'(plus it's fucking hilarious).

Thank you @karenmckersie! This Man did another post before this one today as well. Now This Man is hearing the great news about how this little world is still at war. That sucks... but This Man can only keep This Chin up! Hopefully someday This Man will be able to blog without having to worry about who's fighting over who did what now, when and how plus why.

This Man is easy to find. Just look for the green guy trending on Steemit. If This Man isn't there, This Man either did something really stupid, or just needs some time to be alone with This Man's thoughts. This Man is incredibly stoked to be back though(regardless of all these changes).
