To those of you who are not creeped out by the Easter Bunny

Not creeped out by the idea of a giant rabbit somehow "creating", delivering and hiding colorful eggs once a year?

That may change after watching the first 20 seconds of this video.

I realize that a lot of super hero purists simply despise Teen Titians Go!

But if you can separate it from the other more serious and comic book based iterations and just see it for the ridiculous fun it is having, maybe you will enjoy it. Or maybe not because it is really freaking weird.

Sometimes when they do gross things on the show, they cut to closeups that remind me a lot of Ren and Stimpy. One of the directors off Teen Titans Go!, Luke Corsican, actually worked on Ren and Stimpy back in the day.

But yeah the Easter Bunny is a really bizarre tradition.

So a giant bunny comes into your house at night and hides things all around while you sleep? Sure that sounds reasonable.

It fits right in with the jolly fatman, tooth stealing fairy and mischief causing leprechauns who parents are apparently powerless against in their efforts to keep them out of their homes.

Then we wonder why kids are afraid monsters live in their closets. I can't imagine where they got the idea that supernatural creatures can sneak into a home.

Well Happy Easter everyone!

To those of you celebrating this holiday for more serious and religious reasons, I hope you have a wonderful day and are able to spend it with your loved ones.

How can bunnies lay egg? Hahaha. That's disturbing.

I know! Gross as well!

Happy Easter, though!

Rabbits are a symbol of fecundity (they fuck alot). It is a pagan tradition celebrating the spring and new life. The church took over the traditions of the conquered and amalgamated it with their own dogma so the population would accept the new order. The original meaning was forgotten, but you still have aspects held onto, especially when they involve candy. And we won't even get into the birthday cakes and witchcraft....
