Looks mostly good except for as you already now that off the ledge air roll, it does feel like something isn't right there but honestly it works and that's the main thing. As for the hit detection box trust me @roundbeargames its already way ahead than some of the other bigger games out there with their ridiculous unfair detection boxes, so well done. Haha dam man yea that jumping needs to be fixed unless your game is going to have big jumps everywhere or if the game is based in space.

Well I watched the whole video through and the animation is spot on to me, obviously as the developer you want pixel perfect movement - but from a players point of view it all works smoothly - I quite like how the character does an arms stretched forward dive - and then goes into a roll at landing.
My impression is you are coming on in leaps and bounds (tee hee :-) from the earlier models, as previously stated your snap shots of progress I am sure do not give even the tiniest inkling into how much time and work is needed to combine all this together into a moving character and a working game. I find it fascinating following your journey and look forward to seeing the final game launched.

i remember i was gonna reply to this but just got too busy with other stuff.
to a fault i think i care too much about what i like instead of looking at it from a player's perspective.. i'll keep what you said in mind because often times my own preference can go against smooth gameplay.
