I have found critics in most fields are getting worse and worse. I used to be a big film buff and I could never understand why the critics would hate all the super popular movies but lavish praise on pure shit. At some point I realized a lot of them are just a bunch of snobby asshats that want to feel superior. Not just that they are being paid :)
