Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

This is a rogue-like indie game. Your main goal is to kill your Mother, it might seem ridiculous, but when you start playing you'll understand. The price of the game is 14.99€ on steam and this game also has 2 DLC-s: Afterbirth(10.99€) and Afterbirth+(9.99€). The price might keep you from playing, but this game has so much replayability. For starters you might not want to buy the DLC and that's fine, but after you start to get hooked, you'll buy them. I can only speak for Afterbirth, because I don't own Afterbirth+ yet, but just Afterbirth has made this game so much more fun and They give so much more content.

Lore (Spoilers)

You are playing as Isaac, (also there are 15 different characters, all with unique play style), and from the looks from it, your mother wants to murder you because she has heard from the god and then you escape to the basement. But you will never escape the basement and keep going deeper and deeper. There are other theories about the lore that are much more darker (yup , this is the most PG one). But after you defeat mother on the 6th floor, you'll need to defeat Mom's Heart for 11 times, and then it will replace Mom's Heart with It lives, and beating it will unlock passage to Sheol (Hell) or Cathedral (Heaven). And after defeating Cathedrals boss Isaac(yea, getting weirder) or Sheol boss Satan 5 times, you can pick up The Polaroid or The Negative to go to the Chest or The Dark Room after defeating Isaac or Satan accordinly. Keep in mind after defeating Mom's Heart for the 5th time for example, your run ends there, if any special conditions aren't met, that's why this game has so much replay value. You might think it's tedious to play the same game over and over again, but it has so many item combos, that you'll never get bores.

Conclusion

This game is really fun to play and I recommend it to everyone. I've sunked over 100h into it and I'm not even near as done, because I want and need to finish all the characters. It might seem expensive and you might not want to try it out, but just buy the original game for the start and then see how much fun it actually is.
