Our tiny tim tomatoes (still in their pots indoors) had a couple more red ones so I picked those, grabbed some basil leaves (also in a pot indoors) and a piece of green onion (that we regrown from scrap and placed in the kitchen garden outside our door) and went to our garden plot in the back and got two asparagus.
I fried some yellow onion that we got from the ppl we are dogsitting for, they grew them last year at their acerage, and added the rest. I made mashed potatoe patties, eggs and sausage.

It was so tasty we just devoured it all before i remebered i should have taken a picture.

Im so excited that we already have things we can harvest, and how things are coming together. When our tiny tim tomatoes are gone the sweetie tomatoes will be ready, we even have a sub artic turning colour. Then when they are gone we should have a bunch more tiny tims.

Here are the dogs staying with us

Bear 13 & Dolly 14 years old, one is half blind and the other deaf. These 4 senior citizens are quite the handfull at times but we get to laugh a lot and its just for the weekend. And they nap, a lot, which works out well for me the pregnant lady - we syncronize naps

Super jealous!

Our 17 year old geriatric cat with dementia thought it would be a good idea to stalk the skunk this morning.... I guess it's big enough that she could see it, as she's very blind and deaf.

Fortunately, she was spotted and retrieved before it was too late...

oh wow, yeah thats real fortunate haha. Could have been quite smelly otherwise!
They are such personalities and just get more character with age it seems :D

asparagus and tomatoes at the same time eh? I've got a new post as well https://steemit.com/permaculture/@mobios/get-shut-in-the-cold, please check it out and let me know what you think!
