Geometry Challenge - Week 15 - Entry 3

in geometrychallenge •  7 years ago

Please take a look at my third and final entry in the Geometry Challenge initiated by @southsea.

This week's theme is Crosses.

A wooden cross in a concrete wheel base overlooking the sandy beach in western Corsica someplace between Nonza and Marina d'Albu.

A beautiful place to run. I remember vividly that it was Monday morning and the road was empty. It was a great joy to run from the beach up the hill to the beautiful village of Nonza and explore it.

I entered the town exactly at 8 o'clock in the morning. The church bell was ringing for me :)

Proof of Run

Please, consider joining the challenge. It is fun and you can display your photo art :)

Also consider joining the @runningproject. This way you can combine running and photography. It is a winning combination. I love to stop at beautiful places during the run to take some photos. Months and years later, while looking at them, I can remember exactly what a great experience was to run there.

Nice run, were you there on holiday?

Yes, three beautiful weeks spent exploring and bathing :)

This year it's Sardinia's turn. For the fourth time :)

very cool! I've never been to either. What the favourite place you've been to and ran?

You should go to both Sardinia and Corsica. These islands are special. They are but they aren't Italy and France. There is an aura of self-sufficiency and independence. You can feel it everywhere.

Favourite place? There are many :)

OK, on Sardinia it is definitely the coastal run from Valledoria towards the beautiful city of Castelsardo. Single track in the bush with the sea below you.

Where is your's fav?

Sounds good! The favourite place I run is still the forests where I live, the wildlife, the nature is like a holiday destination.
