Had to do some kind of review for my Epiphone 75th Anniversary Century amplifier because I believe it is a special piece of equipment at a very reasonable price. So here it is:
Then again, right afterwards I decided to change some parts inside it, check the BIAS and see what happens. So, I took a speaker off my old Teisco amp and replaced the Epiphone Electar speaker with a Pioneer alnico one from the 70s. Had to clean it and drill some new holes but it fitted really well.
Then I replaced the preamp tubes with the Teisco's Matsushita 12AX7's, then adjusted the BIAS and then some testing again. So, here it is the final result:
