Dear Diary: I Just Got Back Home From My Disrupted Dialysis

Today my dialysis machine broke down but I was hooked up already for about 30 minutes so they tried to finish one hour of it and then after that it was temporarily stopped until I could be hooked to the next dialysis machine. I have to wait for the other patient to finish so that I can start again and get a decent blood-cleaning session.

So we got home late but it is still good because at least it is it not so hot and I was able to have a good clean anyway. It is not hard to wait that long because the dialysis center is adequately airconditioned considering that it is searing hot and humid outside.

My blood pressure also went down momentarily, low enough for me to notify my nurses because my vision is beginning to dim already and I do not want to black-out because of that plus I could not endure it anymore like in my previous sessions.

Now at least I got relieved from my extra water from my system and it made my breathing near normal again. The only thing is that I am quite thirsty when dialysis ends because they are setting the machine to throw sodium in my system, I could not blame them though because my blood pressure drops and that is their way to prevent it but still my blood pressure is not cooperating.

I thank God again for this glorious day although problems popped-out out of nowhere but at least it got solved quickly.
