Happy Thursday! Sharing a training tip with you today.
It is really quite simple - tie your shoes as a test of balance, core strength and leg stability.
For myself, when tying one, I raise the foot off the floor and, without resting it on my knee or anything, put on and tie the shoe.
Same for my other foot.
Dead simple, right?
If I can't do each foot this way, I consider it a 'downcheck' for the day, and take it a bit easy on my running.
As it gets easier, I'll add elements to keep it demanding.
For yourself, make it a bit tough, and when it gets easy, make it a bit tougher. It doesn't matter where you start, just where you are headed.
