Fixing a weakness

Fixing shortcomings in life is a great and essential step in bettering yourself.

When it comes to life, business or fitness or anything else, you're going to want to learn how to identify weaknesses and then snuff them out.

Improvement is essential!

Fitness is one of my greatest obsessions. I love talking about working out and eating healthy and going to the gym.

I love everything about fitness. The dedication required, the discipline, the grind, the results, the feeling that you get when you hit a great lift...

Fitness is one of the greatest things in my life. I wouldn't trade this obsession for any other!

Recently, I have found that one of my greatest weaknesses, physically, are my glutes.

Your glutes are responsible for a whole lotta stuff.

To name just a few important things (although, there are many more!):

  1. They help you walk
  2. They help you stand
  3. Balance
  4. Physique
  5. Back pain relief
  6. Support while sitting or even sleeping
  7. .....

As you can see, your glutes are responsible for so many things and they are vital to a healthy body and life.

Fixing this weakness of mine involves a lot of exercises that specifically target, grow and stretch my glutes.

Here's a quick overview of the routine I have implemented, try it out for yourself and tell me if you see some results!!

  1. Stretch lower back, hips and glutes every day with lying leg raises
  2. Work out glutes 3-4x a week (2x for 2 leg days a week and then 1-2 extra times on a random push or pull day as well)
  3. Sit less
  4. Remind myself to reach full flexion during exercise and even while standing and walking (fully flexing your hips and pelvis forward)
