But you can practice meditation while sitting, walking or even in other postures.
You can enter into meditation by taking a relaxed breath before beginning the meditation. If the mind is agitated, this light breathing can bring the mind to one place.
Concentration is the most important part of meditation and it can free the mind from many things that cause stress, anxiety and worry.
You can focus your attention on the subtle music, the subtle sounds around you, or your breathing.
- Let open free thoughts enter your mind. Let them go through your mind without any judgment and watch it carefully. Do not try to stop endless attitudes. Take care of how one thought joins together like a chain link fence.
This is how you can start meditating. Or you can go to a teacher or meditation center. You can also meditate alone. If you meditate alone
It can be done formally or informally and some people can start meditating for 15 minutes and then meditate for 2-3 hours or so.

We used to meditate at school in the morning and afternoon. But I really hadn't an idea about it. So, I just closed eyes and murmured.
But after school I turned to do 'ආනාපානසති' meditation with a perception in everyday morning for few months. It was really helpful for soothing my mind. Must do it again as I have extra time these days.

My mind is running everywhere. Actually,I did meditation in my school times. However it missed because of studies. Totally forgot about it. My mind will so relax if I can do meditation sometimes.
First of all, I have to find a quiet place for this as my home is infront of the main road. So, there are a lot of noises and it’s so annoying to concentrate my mind for doing meditation.
