Many children today are accustomed to watching only video games and entertainment programs instead of watching cartoons. But fifteen to twenty years ago we knew that watching cartoons was part of the daily routine not only of young children but also of young people.

Although the quality of cartoons shown on television today is not that high, the cartoons that aired on television about two decades ago were very enjoyable. Among those cartoons, 'Tin Tinge Veera Kriya' can be described as a cartoon that has become very popular not only among us Sri Lankans but also among children in many countries of the world. Most people know what a tin can is just by hearing it, but many do not understand when, where, or by whom it was created. Therefore, through this article, we hope to share with you the story of how the series "Tin Tin's Heroic Action" that we all enjoyed began and how it spread around the world .

'Adventures of Tintin' is a series of cartoons created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remy (AirJ). Tintin's heroic comic series, popular throughout Europe in the twentieth century, has been translated into nearly seventy languages by 2007, and has sold nearly 200 million copies worldwide. In addition, it has been used in a number of radio and television dramas and films. In 1929, it was published in French in a supplement for young people in the Belgian newspaper "La Vangtiam Siequel", and due to its success, it became popular through its publication in the leading Belgian newspaper "Le Sawyer".

The hero of the Tintin series is Tintin, a young Belgian national journalist. He also had a very loyal dog named 'Snowy'. Capt. Haddock, an intelligent but deaf man, was one of the leading figures in the calculus, Thompson, and Thompson.

AirJay worked as an illustrator for La Vangtiam Siakle, the first Roman Catholic newspaper in Brussels, where he was born, which was a Catholic newspaper. The newspaper, owned by Norber Wallace, published a supplement for young people every Thursday, and Wallace AirJay was named author of the supplement. A cartoon created by someone who worked in the sports department of the same newspaper was published in this youth supplement, and since it was not so successful, AirJ decided that it would be better to create one of its own.image.pngSource

AirJe, who already had a lot of experience drawing cartoons, had previously created a cartoon featuring adventures about a young man involved in the scout movement. He concluded that the protagonist of the cartoon, "Totor", was very similar to Tintin. Moreover, he was of the opinion that "Totor" differed from Tin Tin only because he wore a scout uniform
