I have trained some of the best coaches on the planet during my 20-year athletic career and when I competed in the 2008 Olympics.
But when I wanted to start my own business, share my knowledge of motivational psychology and training with others, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.
Starting a new business is not easy. Unknown, to find an unexpected throat. You will have to forgo the fixed salary facility. Lots of things keep us from jumping - like fear and insecurity. And above all, the stimulus
1. Not focused, not motivated.
How committed are you to your goal? How important is this to you and what are you willing to sacrifice to make it happen? If you feel fully engaged, encouragement will follow.
2. Look for knowledge, not results.
If you focus on the excitement of discovering, improving, discovering, and experiencing, your motivation will always be faster. If you focus only on the results, your enthusiasm will be like the weather - when you get hit by a storm, it will die. The key, then, is to focus on the journey, not the destination. Keep thinking about what you learn along the way and what you can do better.
3. Make the trip fun.
It's a great game! The moment you take him seriously there is a high probability that he will start lifting heavy emotional weights and you will lose your perspective and get stuck again.
4. Get rid of dazzling thoughts.
Thoughts affect emotions, and feelings determine how you view your work. You have a lot of ideas in your head and you always have the choice of who to focus on: the one that will trap you emotionally (fear, doubt) or the one that will make you move forward.
5. Use your imagination.
When things are going well you are filled with positive energy and when you are having difficulty you need to be even more energetic. So rename your situation. If you keep saying I hate my job, guess what feelings those words will create? It's a matter of imagination! You can always find something to learn from the world's worst boss, even for the most boring job. I have a great workout for you: just three days, think and say positive things. See what's going on
6. Stop being nice to yourself.
Stimulation means action and the results of action. Sometimes your actions do not achieve the desired results. So you prefer to be good and not put yourself in a difficult situation. You wait for the perfect time for an opportunity when you find yourself stagnant and sometimes depressed. Go out, challenge yourself, do something you want to do but be afraid.
7. Get rid of distractions.
Small things and distractions will always be in your way, especially the simple, routine things you want to do instead of focusing on new, challenging, and meaningful projects. Learn to focus on the most important thing. Make a list of those who waste time and hold yourself accountable for not doing so.
8. Don't trust others.
You should never expect this from others, even from your partner, friend, or boss. They are all busy with their own needs. No one will make you happy or achieve your goals.
9. Plan.
Take your three steps forward. You don't need a lot. Fill out your weekly calendar, noting when and how you will do it. When-what-how is it important to plan. Take a day to review what you've learned and what you can do better.
10. Avoid getting burned.
It's easy to burn out when you're so excited. Observe yourself for any signs of fatigue and take time to relax. When you schedule a time for relaxation and recreation in your weekly schedule, your body and mind relax. Perform a variety of tasks, working with someone who is creative and logical, physical and still something, alone and as a team. Change location. Meditate, or take a deep breath, close your eyes, or meditate for five minutes at a time.
