The Bireuen Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Aceh Province, held a flag ceremony to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of Charity Day (HAB), Friday, January 3, 2025.

The ceremony, which was held in the yard of the State Islamic High School (MAN) 2 Bireuen, was attended by State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Bireuen Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag).

The Acting Head of the Bireuen Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Anis S Ag, read a speech from the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. KH Nasaruddin Umar MA, which contained a message to strengthen religious moderation, improve religious services, and strengthen national unity.

The Minister of Religious Affairs (Menag) also emphasized the importance of making the Ministry of Religious Affairs a professional, innovative, and integrated public servant.

In addition, another important moment was the presentation of certificates and prizes to students who excelled in competitions that had been held previously. The presentation of the charter and prizes is a form of appreciation for the enthusiasm and contribution of the young generation in enlivening the commemoration of HAB.

The commemoration of the 79th HAB was also closed with prayers and hopes that the Ministry of Religion will continue to advance, become the vanguard in strengthening religious moderation and providing the best service for all levels of society.
