Hello steemians. It's an honour participating in this #steemengagement season 2 week 1 challenge. This is my very first post on the Urdu-Community. I got to know about this community through @ceendy20 who tagged me to her post. I will pledge my commitment to the community by delegating my steem power and joining weekly contest from now on.

I'll be giving my personal thoughts on how and why steemit social media is better than other social media platform.

Heading straight to the contest I would love to journey you into the social media platforms daily use.

WHATSAPP SOCIAL MEDIA

WhatsApp is my most used social Media platform. This is because it connects me to close friends and it is exclusive to only people that have my WhatsApp mobile number. This is a very good strategy for privacy because someone that doesn't have my WhatsApp mobile number cannot get access to my WhatsApp.

WHATSAPP FEATURES
WhatsApp has so many features that makes the platform interesting, easy to use and more communicative. These features are
•Video calls
WhatsApp has an alternative where you can see the person you are chatting with virtually. This feature is very good as face-to-face communication is most times better than audio and text, and again you can choose whose person's video call to pick or decline. I personally do video calls with my close friends, business partners and family members.
•Voice calls
This is mostly used in WhatsApp call features. It is an audio communication where you just hear the person's voice without seeing the person
•WhatsApp status
Prior to this time only one status can be posted for the duration of 24 hours on WhatsApp, now multiple statuses can be posted at once and it last for 24 hours and expires after that time duration. This feature is a great business tool for people to display their goods on their status.
•WhatsApp group
This allows a particular set of people access a particular information at the same time. it is a helpful tool for quick, accurate information dissemination.

TELEGRAM SOCIAL MEDIA

Unlike what many people think about telegram, the platform happens to be very vast and good.
•On telegram, you can use the search button to randomly search any group and you will see hundreds of groups with that title all over the word
•A telegram group can carry thousands of people at once unlike WhatsApp that cannot get to a thousand people
•On telegram, you can choose to be anonymous by hiding your phone number. This means you can be on a group and your phone number is hidden. It supports privacy.
•On telegram, you can receive and send very huge files without restrictions, unlike Facebook and WhatsApp
•Telegram gives you an insight of people around your location when you click "find people around my location" button

FACEBOOK SOCIAL MEDIA

Facebook is owned by Mark Zuckerberg. It is one of the commonest social media platforms in the world. It is estimated that 1 out of 20 persons on earth had or has a Facebook account. Facebook connects you beyond people you know and your environment, it goes further to show you happenings around the world

FACEBOOK FEATURES
Facebook has some features that makes it fun and Interesting. Here are some I love the most
•Facebook reels
This is one of the latest Facebook features, it allows the Facebook users to post short video clips on your page. It has same character as the Facebook status
•Facebook Messenger
This is the communication tool on Facebook. It allows users send and receive messages from their Facebook friends and also anyone who even isn't there Facebook friends.
•Facebook page and groups
This is an interactive feature on Facebook. On Facebook page, only the account owner can post and anyone can comment, but on Facebook groups anyone can post and anyone can comment. This is a major tool for buying and selling on Facebook

WHY IS STEEMIT BETTER THAN ALL THESE MENTIONED SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

My journey on steemit began March 2021 and it is a social Media platform that has personally been of great help. I got to know about this platform through @ceendy20. These are reasons I personally love steemit more than all other social media platforms

•Decentralization
Steemit as a decentralized platform means that it is sovereign. Decentralization is transferring control from a main source to other channels without interference from a third party. This means there is no middleman interference or government interference

•Decision Making
Taking decisions on what to post and what not to post isn't a Factor on steemit unlike Facebook that you can be banned or restricted for some days for saying words or making post not suitable to the social Media platform. Steemit users have the free will to post content as long as it is ok by the particular community you are posting to.

•Institution for learning
Everytime I log into my steemit account, I see a new information or a new skill to learn. This has always boosted my knowledge about things like cryptocurrency, lifestyle, religion, gadgets etc and to put an icing on the cake, this information is gotten free of charge. Incredible!

•Earn steem by making posts
The Social media platforms I ealier mentioned doesn't give a dime for making post, but steem does. Steemit pays in a cryptocurrency called steem every time you make a post. This means I learn, interact and Earn on steemit.

•high level of transparency
Wonder why you can see other person's steemit wallet and transaction, it is because steemit practice a high level of transparency. Every time a post is made on steemit, it is open that any other person can view it. This is also how #club5050 or #club75 countries your royal loyalty to the project. Nothing is hidden on steemit Blockchain.

•high-level security
Steemit has an extra layer of security that is why it is less likely to be hacked unlike Facebook and WhatsApp. Steem stored or data posted on steem can also not be hacked or altered because of the high-level security in the blockchain. A person can only access your account when he or she has access to your private keys. This is why keeping your keys safe is very essential.

Conclusion
Personally, I use WhatsApp, telegram and Facebook social media platforms which are off course very helpful, but my best social media platform is steemit.

This is because steemit is a learning institution, i earn by making posts on steemit which I don't on any other platform, steemit is very secured and transparent also steemit blockchain is decentralized.
