Hello Friends. Congratulations to steem4Bloggers. This is the first week of this season 14. I'll be contributing to this topic and giving you reasons why I want to be popular
Do you want to be popular or not? Justify your answer?
Yes. I want to be popular. People have different reasons and intentions for wanting to be popular. There are a few personal reasons I have too.
Being popular increasing your social opportunity.
Have you ever seen a strange face bag an endorsement deal? No.
Only popular and famous people get such opportunities
Also, it seems the more popular you get, the more access you have. Access to people on the Top positions, access to information, access to material and human resources.
Last, but not the least, popularity has a way of drawing attention to a particular person. Now, it's left for the person to do with the attention as he/she wills, but personally, I will use that attention to Preach Jesus, helping the needy and unprivileged

I think the way of becoming popular matters. The process a person took to get such popularity shows who the person really is. Unfortunately, many people just want to be popular not minding the steps and process they take to attain such Position
In your opinion, which quality makes a person popular?
The Bible said "See a man diligent in his work, he will Stand before kings and not before ordinary men"
Diligence is a strong ingredient for popularity. When a person has been known for such display and unwavering commitment to something, it makes him/her popular
There are so many examples from this platform @ngoenyi @josepha @ruthjoe etc, they displayed unwavering commitment to steemit and it gave them huge followers and popularity.
The Prons and Cons of being popular?
The Prons of being popular like I have started above are having access to people at the TOP as well as their resources. Being popular also draws attention and focus to a person. Also, It attracts social influence and opportunities that can be monetized.
Taking about the cons, being popular can lead to pride and boastfulness to the person, it can cause one to look down on his former mates and mere just because if his new level. Another disadvantage is that a popular person is always trolled, there is this notion on people's head that "they shouldn't have fault or spot" No, this is not true, being popular doesn't mean the person is less of a human.
