Hello @abdullahw2 thank you for participating in this week's lesson. We have assessed your entry and we present the result of our assessment below.

Feedback:

• You have clearly defined Typography the way you best understand it and I appreciate the remarkable effort you put into your explanation.

• You have rightly attempted the question two task which states that you discuss about 3 other font categories you personally researched. I love the fact that you were very detailed about it.

• Finally, Your practical is nice, however I have few observations and recommendations to make you become better at this...

a. Design no. one looks really cool, your typeface is nice, colour cool but then your positioning is not so perfect. You chose the center alignment quite alright but where you position your element is far from the middle where your element would have been more balance. You just violated the principle of balance in design 1

b. In image two, you used the left alignment which is great. But you didn't maximize the use of font size, be free to increase and style fonts using features like "bold". Lastly avoid pushing your text to the extreme end of the left or right corner when aligning. If you were to print this design, the printer will cut part of text, because it wasn't given enough margin/allowance.

c. The same comment for design two is applicable to image three where you used the right alignment. You violated the principle of balance , you can see that your element are not well balanced even though they are aligned to the left. I can describe what you did as upward-left Alignment instead of Center-left alignment for balance. Kindly take note and work on it in subsequent task.

d. In image 4, you used the center - down alignment for, instead of center-center alignment for balance. Am using all of these terms just to point out where you missed it, am not sure there are terms in graphic with these name. Kindly take note of the space between your elements, if too distant, your design won't look very organized and professional.

You also missed the part of the task that requires that you talk about the graphic principles you engaged in making these designs. This would further prove that you understand how these things work.

In all, you did beautiful well and I must commend your effort. I hope you keep up with the energy level.
