Every weekend, my family and I set aside time to indulge in our favorite tradition, discovering new places to eat 🧑‍🍳 in Phuket🇹🇭. There's something exciting about exploring restaurants we’ve never tried before, and this past weekend was no exception.✨

While scrolling through Facebook in search of a new lunch spot, I stumbled across a post about Coming Home Cafe & Seascape restaurant in Rawai 🏝️. The photos looked absolutely stunning 📸—white and earthy tones, a seaside view, and cozy outdoor seating. I immediately showed it to my family, and we all agreed it was worth checking out.

We decided to head there, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! From the moment we arrived, the cafe’s minimalist design and soothing ambiance stood out. The combination of white and brown tones created a calm, cozy vibe that felt instantly welcoming.

What made the experience even more special was the gentle sound of the waves in the background and the stunning view of the sea. The cafe featured three distinct zones, each offering its own unique atmosphere, and I couldn’t wait to explore them all! 🌊✨

The first zone was an air-conditioned room designed with minimalism in mind. The clean white tones of the walls and furnishings were tastefully contrasted by hints of earthy brown, giving the space a modern yet cozy vibe. It felt like stepping into a stylish sanctuary where elegance met simplicity.🏡

The standout features of this room were the curved mirror and the large circular windows, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of the sea. Sitting here felt like being framed in a living postcard, with the ocean providing an ever-changing masterpiece outside.

At one corner of the room, there was a counter displaying an array of tempting drinks and cakes. The desserts looked so appetizing that it was impossible to resist snapping a photo—or two! Whether you were craving a creamy latte or a sweet indulgence, this area had something for everyone.🍰☕️

The room also offered plenty of Instagram-worthy corners, each with its own charm. From the thoughtfully placed decor to the calming ambiance, it was clear that this zone was designed to be as photogenic as it was relaxing.

Stepping into the outdoor zones, we were immediately drawn to the natural beauty surrounding the seating areas. This part of the cafe offered two unique options, each with its own charm.🌴

The first area featured a large pavilion, open on all sides, allowing the ocean breeze to drift through. The pavilion was thoughtfully designed with white curtains that swayed gently in the wind, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The rustic tables and chairs, crafted from natural materials, perfectly complemented the thatched roof above.🍽️

This zone was ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy a meal while soaking up the stunning sea views. Whether you wanted to feel the cool breeze or simply take in the scenery, this pavilion provided the perfect semi-outdoor setting.⛵️

As inviting as this zone was, we didn’t stop to eat here just yet. Instead, we decided to explore the next outdoor space before making our choice.

The second outdoor zone was truly something special. Situated right next to the sea, it quickly became clear why this area was a favorite among visitors. The design gave the illusion of floating above the water, with a floor that seemed to extend out into the sea. Though it lacked a roof, the natural shade provided by the large, overhanging trees made it feel perfectly cool and inviting.🎋

My family and I chose this spot to enjoy our meal, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. The view was absolutely breathtaking, with the sound of waves gently crashing against the shore completing the peaceful ambiance. Sitting here felt like we were fully immersed in the beauty of nature, with nothing but the sea stretching out before us.

After settling in, we took a moment to soak in the tranquil surroundings. The combination of the ocean breeze, the calming sound of the waves, and the shade from the trees created a serene atmosphere that made us feel completely at ease. We spent some time snapping photos of the stunning views while waiting for our food to arrive, capturing memories of this picture-perfect spot.

Not long after we had settled in, our food was served, and we couldn’t wait to dig in. One of the dishes was my husband’s pick – a Western-style dish that he had never tried before. Though I can’t recall its exact name, it was beautifully presented, consisting of lightly toasted bread filled with a refreshing shrimp salad 🍤🌮. The creamy parsley sauce added a rich yet balanced flavor that complemented the shrimp perfectly.

We both agreed it was a delightful choice, and I couldn’t resist snapping a quick photo before the first bite. It felt like the dish was as much a treat for the eyes as it was for the taste buds!

For my choice, I couldn’t resist the "shrimp in fish sauce" dish. The presentation was as delightful as the taste – rows of fresh, succulent shrimp draped with a vibrant, spicy seafood sauce 🦐. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balancing the tangy, spicy, and savory elements that Thai cuisine is so well-known for.

For my son, we ordered a classic favorite – shrimp fried rice. It was the perfect choice since he isn’t a fan of spicy dishes. The fragrant rice was cooked to perfection, with tender shrimp adding a touch of elegance to this simple yet satisfying meal. Watching him enjoy every bite made us all smile, proving that even the simplest dishes can bring so much joy.

Our fourth dish was a vibrant spicy seafood vermicelli salad. The combination of chewy glass noodles, fresh seafood, and crisp vegetables created a symphony of textures and flavors. The dressing had the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory. It was definitely a highlight of our meal, especially for those who love bold and fiery flavors.

To wrap up our meal, we treated ourselves to a decadent slice of chocolate cake. It was rich, moist, and perfectly sweet—just the right indulgence to end our lunch on a high note.

Our meal at "Coming Home Cafe & Seascape" turned out to be more than just lunch—it was an experience. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors truly stood out. Coupled with the stunning seaside views and the tranquil ambiance, it felt like a perfect escape from the everyday hustle.

As we left the cafe, we couldn’t help but talk about how much we enjoyed this little adventure. The memories of savoring delicious food while listening to the gentle waves and feeling the sea breeze will stay with us for a long time.
