in hive-111300 •  2 years ago

Hello Friends,

It's The Interview Showcase!!!. with your host ubongudofot...This is the 31st Edition of “The interview Showcase...." and my first show for 2023!

A lifestyle program that comes with many educational values. A weekly interview of top users/users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth.

It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steemit itself.

I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and have a chat/call with top Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.

They also share some tips that are able to help other users to understand the blockchain and make use of it in the correct way. Sometimes they seek some valuable suggestions here which can help them solve some of their challenges.

This week I decided to start the year in Venezuela. Some Spanish is not bad Hugh?

I visited Maria Ramirez A.K.A @tocho2 who is currently serving as one of the country Representative in Venezuala and also the admin in steem Venezuela. She is one of the Greeter in New Comers Community. For those of you who doesn't know, tocho2 loves Cat a lot. But i am very sure you can't compare @kiwiscanfly love for smudge with that, I mean, I can't compare it !.

Just before we continue, tocho2 has few words for you all dear fans, please listen below. And don't be shock that she is speaking English, of course she can...!

Ubongudofot
: Hello tocho2, it's nice to have you on my show today.., how will you describe yourself to other users and how would you describe your experience on Steemit so far?

🔶Tocho2: I am a person as simple as you have been able to interpret me through my posts, I can say that I love everything I do, from my work to my activities in Steemit, I love reading posts every day, I love greeting Steemit friends by leaving them a comment on his posts, and in case you haven't noticed, I love coffee.

About my experience in Steemit so far, I can say that this has been a unique experience, it has been wonderful for me to share with users from different countries and very interesting cultures, I like to read posts on different topics and meet people through their post, but above all things, the most outstanding thing about Steemit are the bonds of friendship that have been cultivated since I started until now.

Ubongudofot
: What's the reason behind your username?

🔶Tocho2: It is a really silly story, it happens that the first time I wanted to open an email account I wanted to put my second last name (Tochón) but I made a mistake with the keyboard and wrote "tocho2" and I have kept it that way for many years and I adopted it as a strange pseudonym.

Ubongudofot
: What has been your biggest achievement since you joined the Steemit platform ?

🔶Tocho2: My greatest achievement is the large number of people I have met from my country and other beautiful places in the world, I never thought that this could happen to me on Steemit.

Ubongudofot
: Who is your favorite author?

🔶Tocho2: In Steemit I have many favorite authors but some of them are not currently active, one of them is @gero51 who wrote some beautiful poems and his wife @charjaim who wrote beautiful reflection posts and sometimes short love stories.

But I can't say that I have definitive favorites, every day I read posts I find users with very good writing skills so every day I find a favorite post.

And outside of steemit I read many books, on various topics, however if it is about literature, my great favorite is the Colombian writers/journalist Gabriel García Márquez (+).

Ubongudofot
: What's your greatest fear?

🔶Tocho2: As a person I am not fearful, but a great fear in general terms that I can mention are the changes in moral and social values that humanity has suffered up to now, at some point humanity will have to reflect on it.

And I could also add that "flying cockroaches" scare me, hehehehe.

Ubongudofot
: What is the most difficult thing you've ever attempted to learn?

🔶Tocho2: It has been somewhat difficult for me to learn the German language, that is why I have put it aside and have not continued with the lessons.

Ubongudofot
: What is your favorite song?

🔶Tocho2: I have many number of favorite songs from each musical genre that I listen to, I really like soft rock classics, romantic ballads, rock-pop in Spanish that is quite soft, but out of this common selection, there is a very special song It was taught to me by a great friend, it is called “Shalom Aleichem” interpreted by Susana Allen, it is a Hebrew praise of the Jewish people, it is really beautiful.

Ubongudofot
: Outside of the blockchain world, what are your hobbies/interests?

🔶Tocho2: Outside of the blockchain, I really like to go out for coffee in different places in the city, that is, when a new café opens I visit the place to see what it is like. I remember that before the pandemic I really liked going out to sea to snorkel, but lately I haven't done it and I've replaced it with the hobby of taking naps whenever I can (don't laugh at this please). And every day I go to the gym to train weights, this is my favorite recreational activity over other things.

Ubongudofot
: What is one thing very few people know about you that you'd like to share with the Steemit community?

🔶Tocho2: Something that nobody knows about me is that I have "flat feet" so I rarely wear flat shoes, I always wear heels and this condition has been greatly corrected.

Ubongudofot
: How can you contribute to steem growth in your country

🔶Tocho2: I think that from the role of Country Representative I have contributed in some way to the growth of Steemit, I have taken with great pleasure the task of receiving new users, guiding new and existing users, and even encouraging users to continue with their publications showing their skills and knowledge in each post, as well as guide them in their growth career in Steemit. I consider it necessary for all of us to have a mentor when we enter, a person who guides us and encourages us to continue when we enter new and without any knowledge.

Ubongudofot
: As one of the Country Representative in Venezuela, what will you mention as some of the challanges faced by Venezuelans both on the blog and in real life?

🔶Tocho2: Venezuelans face many difficult challenges every day, the political and social environment of our country has not led to this, and this is transferred to our homes and daily activities. I could mention that one of the great challenges that a Venezuelan faces inside and outside of Steemit is the lack of a stable internet service, considering that we use the internet for any number of things like studying and working, for example, another case would be the constant failures of the electrical service because in most cities this service fails for long hours, affecting the entire environment and daily activities of citizens.

These situations can be evidenced in the publications of The Diary Game of the users of my country.

Ubongudofot
: Do you think Venezuela is doing well in terms of creativity?

🔶Tocho2:Definitely if there is a lot of creativity in the citizens of my country. The fact that every day from the early hours of the day, each Venezuelan gets up with the intention of earning a living for their families with a few entrepreneurial ideas, already makes us quite creative citizens because we can practically work on many things, since the country gives us It has forced you to learn to do many things and develop many skills as well. However, when you review the posts of a user from Venezuela you will find that they make crafts, there is a lot of creative talent for drawing, painting and graphic arts, and there are even artistic talents such as singers and mariachis, for example; and they all express it very naturally in their publications, this makes me feel quite proud of their creativity.

Ubongudofot
: It looks like most users in Venezuela blog on so many other platforms, do you think this can help them to grow on the steemit platform?

🔶Tocho2: It is very possible that some may have blogs on other platforms, however I do not think that this is an impediment to grow in Steemit as long as they do not incur in practices that are not well seen in Steemit.

"Smudge" the cat, courtesy of @kiwiscanfly.

Ubongudofot
: It's obvious the cat is your favorite pet, will you tell me why it is so special?

🔶Tocho2: Cats are a miniature version of "tigers" and I find this quite funny, but on the other hand I think that cats have an extraordinary survival instinct and many hunting skills, they are also resilient beings, this makes cats me are interesting and fun.

Ubongudofot
: If you were to operate the SC01 or SC02 account for a day, what will be your first five consideration before starting voting?

🔶Tocho2: I would take into account the following: the frequency of publication, your performance voting and commenting on other publications, your way of interacting within Steemit, the quality of the content of your publications and your desire to grow in Steemit, this can be known just by giving a visit to his blog.

Ubongudofot
: It's a shame that most users still doesn't know the function of a witness in the blog, do you think it will be a good idea if you Educate most Venezuelan about the witness?

🔶Tocho2:If it would be a great idea to inform and educate Venezuelans about the purpose and importance of witnesses in Steemit, I think that a good job of disseminating information is being done in this regard.

Ubongudofot
: @pennsif.witness was created a while ago with some great projects which has already started, do you think much Venezuelan are supporting this, if not, will you use this my show to pass a message to all Venezuelans?

🔶Tocho2: Can I please say this in spanish?

Ubongudofot
: Yes, go ahead!

Ubongudofot
: As a greeter, what are some of the biggest challenges you face while verifying?

🔶Tocho2: One of the biggest challenges that I have faced in Steemit is the large number of people that we have received, who have offered our support and guidance but who ultimately do not continue with their blogs and publications; we also face the daily challenge of verifying cases of plagiarism and abuse, it is something constant

Ubongudofot
: what message or suggestions will you like to pass to the steemit team? perhaps you have a question or questions, you can ask?

🔶Tocho2: I think that what we currently see in Steemit is the product of the great effort to improve the conditions of the platform so that users always receive rewards for their wonderful publications and in turn avoid the typical cases of plagiarism / spam and abuse, I see that there are currently a lot of collaboration to improve these points and this seems excellent to me. I want to say, thank you to the steemit team for your effort to handle this, I appreciate

Ubongudofot
: What can you say about my Interview Showcase?

🔶Tocho2: Those are the questions, please answer them accordingly and send them to me.
This interview was very interesting and out of the ordinary, I did not expect these questions but it has allowed me to think about some aspects of Steemit that I had not taken into account before; In the same sense, it has allowed me to reveal the secret of my username and the usual photos of cats in my publications, hehehe

Ubongudofot
