Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, blamed the Sindh government's weak administration for the growing Covid-19 situation in Karachi and Hyderabad on Tuesday, stating that vaccination rates in the two cities were low compared to the rest of the country.
Following a meeting of the federal cabinet, Chaudhry told a press conference in Islamabad that 35 percent of the eligible population in Rawalpindi and Peshawar had been vaccinated, followed by 28 percent in Faisalabad and 27 percent in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Sargodha.
