The article shared in the link below speaks of the procedures and the difficulties that institutions have to undergo before investing in crypto market. 

It elaborated on the accounting rules that need to be complied with and the internal procedures that need to be implemented to get their system to cater to crypto investments. 

The article does  not speak of another matter: companies and organizations will also have to get their board members agree to such an investment. In some cases they may have to amend their company's or organizations constitution to legitimize such investment. In some cases they may even have to get shareholder approvals if their constitution says so. All these would take months. 

It also means that what we see in crypto investments from institutions so far is just a drop in the ocean. Many of these institutions wanting to invest in crypto  would now be working on these preliminaries with a view to investment in the near future.
