Our observations
Every part of the Hemp plant can be used either for medicinal, commercial or industrial purposes. The range of uses it can be put to is so wide ranging that it is probably the most profitable agricultural plant to grow.
It is one of the toughest, strongest and lasting materials on our earth. To top it, it is also one of the most useful material. It is far easier to grow and harvest than trees for pulp. Plus it has medicinal properties to boot. We can put it to all these uses at only a fraction of the cost of its substitutes.
We have known these uses all this while and yet why was it made illegal to grow and harvest worldwide?
It was simply because somebody would lose money heavily if it wasn't made illegal. Particularly those in the lumber and the oil & gas industries. Somebody's economic interest was tied to someone's political interest. Hence, laws were made to make it illegal to grow.
