Our take on this article:
First the heading which reads, "This Plant-Based Fast Food Item Blew Us Away," is misleading. It gives the impression that all the ingredients in items listed (Sandwich, Burger and Pizza) are plant-based. This is incorrect because some of the reviewed items in fact contains ingredients made of egg and cheese, which are non-plant based ingredients. However, as you read the article, you begin to realize that what the author meant was the patty and the toppings for the pizza which usually contain meat is now plant-based, in the reviewed items.
Except for the above short-coming, the review of the items were impressive.
There are many vegetarians converts, who still relish the smell, taste and textures of meat. At the other extreme, there are born vegetarians, who will cringe at even the smell, taste or texture of meat. For the former, we recommend the Starbucks' Impossible Breakfast Sandwich is a perfect fit and this one looks very inviting too.
For the latter we recommend Smashburger's Black Bean Burger.
