Ubuntu Linux - glances System Monitor Utility on Terminal

in hive-119463 •  3 years ago

Previously I covered some of the interesting tools and utilities that I can use on the Linux terminal. These tools were good for the system monitoring and the specification output type of the utilities on terminal.

So today I got new glances utility which allows you to check out the system variables. And we will see how to install the utility using snap or even apt.

For snap you can use the command.

sudo snap install glances

and for the apt comamnd would be something like.

sudo apt install glances

Once installed you can then add the command on the terminal.

glances

The output looks something like this.

So I hope that you find the utility useful for your everyday terminal usage. I have not much tried out other utilities at the moment though. But I would be definitely be checking out the other tools which I can use on the ubuntu linux.

Have you used glances?
