A super inexpensive pesto made from:
Wild Pepper (Piper Sarmentosum) - 'Daun Kadok'
Sunflower Seeds
Cheddar Cheese
Palm Oil
Garlic
Start with oil in a pan and sautee some garlic making sure not to burn them. Then add in chili flakes, as much heat as you can handle and then add in slices of chicken breast and stir fry.
Next add in the pesto and cooked pasta. Mix them all together and your done. A super inexpensive pesto that replaces the usual luxury pine nuts with sunflower seeds, parmesan with cheddar, olive oil with palm oil, and basil with 'daun kadok' which can be found growing wild all around here in South East Asia.
It's super delicious and has a little numbing effect that tingles on the tongue.
