Hello Everyone!

I have become someone who loves listening to podcasts and reading self-growth books. If you don’t like doing these both, I am sure my articles would seem like a lecture to you :-p. But, trust me these lectures are worth reading or listening to. I am saying this from my personal experiences, as I was someone who used to hate reading and listening to these podcasts and motivational videos. I used to think, the people who talk about all these things are so boring and are taking life so seriously. I used to say, chill buddy, just relax and enjoy your life, by this, I meant to say that hang out with friends, go shopping, party all night, dance wild, and enjoy.

At that phase of life, I knew little about living. My life was all about the external things and circumstances around me. In short, my day revolved around my external factors. So, if external factors were good, my day was good and if the external factors were not according to me (which means the external factors are not good), my day was not good. So basically, my life was dependent on the things I couldn't control. Like, my happiness, mood, emotions, and mental health were all in the hands of another person or situation. Now, I realize how dumb I was 😝, and on top of that, I used to think that, I am living a great life 😆. Now it seems like a great joke to me.

Understanding life from a deeper level, I understood that my inner self is responsible for my happiness and well-being. And, no situation/circumstances or people are to blame for my happiness, sadness, or mental health. How I respond to a situation is based on how I feel inside. Right? For example: If I am not in a good mood and one of my paintings gets spoiled by my brother, I would get hurt and shout at him for being so careless, which can affect our relationship. And, If the same situation happens when I am happy, I would respond more calmly and say, it’s fine and make I can make a new one. So, the moral here is that our state of mind determines how we feel, and no other factors are to blame for our happiness or sadness.

If our state of mind is stable and peaceful, our life will be more peaceful and much more beautiful than, the people whose state of mind is disturbed. So, be bold and, take charge of your happiness and create a peaceful life for yourself.
