In the opportunity as a speaker or presenter for the community, I always motivate them as participants in public forums and training forums. I always inspire them to always think creatively.

Basically, everyone has the potential to develop and the desire to be successful in life. Achieving life goals, That's why everyone progresses according to their dreams, although the process is different for everyone.

Creative thinking is an indication of the potential use of the brain's ability to think intelligently, because thinking is a human potential, a gift from the Almighty. That is what distinguishes humans from other creatures. Creativity must be honed, it cannot appear by itself, either through education, it can also always follow capacity building training.

In each of my lectures, I often give examples of characters who have succeeded in achieving their life goals because they always think creatively. When I was still living in Jakarta, every time I wanted to cut my hair I went to Johnny Andrean's Salon. He has his own story because of creativity in thinking. Around 1990 he had established a salon and salon schools to 200 branches throughout Indonesia.

Is He satisfied with his success ? Not Johnny Andrean, then. Instead, he became more aggressive and creative. You can see, by still sticking to the idea of ​​creativity, he expanded his business to other, he made a coffee shop and cake, "BreadTalk" his coffee shop name.

Then another creative idea, he opened a Cake Donut business with the brand "J.Co", which to this day J.co Cake Donuts are very well known throughout Indonesia. J.Co is a donut plus coffee outlet that has more than 100 branches in Indonesia. The buyers really boomed and sales exploded with tremendous success.

What's the background ? I remember one of his interviews on a TV channel, Johnny Andrean said this, "My mother is an artist, to be exact a hairdresser like me. While my father is a businessman. These two types run in my blood. I think about the artist's life. more fun than businessmen.

Constant business can be boring. However, if we only know fun but are not business literate, then we will fail. That's why he thinks creatively by combining the soul of art with business. So people call it a businessman with an artist spirit. That's Johnny Andrean.

Another example, we see many Indonesian artists whose works cannot get out of the cage. Why is that? They are not able to business their work properly. Abroad, artists can trade their work in such a way that the selling price reaches billions of rupiah. Most Indonesian Artists are not able to combine their artistic soul for business. They are not creative in selling their art.

That's about as an example, on the one hand, being creative is not easy. But on the other hand, creativity can lead to surprising and amazing success. I have also read, who does not know Ciputra, one of the successful entrepreneurs in the property sector in Indonesia.

One of the 10 most successful business figures in Indonesia according to Forbes magazine. He once said this, "Developed nation is a creative nation", and Japan is one of them.

Note carefully, this is important, the Japanese are a creative nation because they are familiar with pictures, music, and writing Kanji letters. Since elementary school, their Japanese school children are already adept at drawing pictures with Kanji letters.

Hey, Don't you think writing kanji is easy, it's not like normal writing. But it is a pictorial letter, It is more suitable to be called painting than writing. Maybe, because of that habit, Japanese school children are very creative, even elementary schools in Japan are the best elementary schools in the world. It's not that great.

My friend, one of the masters in the world of empowerment, once said that Creativity cannot be implanted and cannot be forced or arise by itself.

Which may need to be done by fishing for it to appear. This requires education and frequent capacity building training. By participating in various capacity building trainings, creative ideas will emerge by themselves.

Only that. Based on my experience as an entrepreneur and speaker in empowerment forums, creativity is often inversely proportional to routine. Because routines are boring and will make creative reasoning seem to stop.
